Unwilling to enter the workforce, Titus became a "professional student" and met and fell in love with Leif, a beautiful Linsang. Until tragedy struck - Leif was shot and badly wounded and fell into coma. Titus was grief-struck and spent long hours by his boyfriend's hospital bed and finally his patience was rewarded - Leif woke up. Unfortunately, Leif's parents, traditionalists, did not approve of their son's relationship, or Titus, at all, and took Leif away. The brain damage was great - he would never be able to walk again and his mental capacities were severely limited, but Titus would have stood beside him, regardless.

Titus fell deeper and deeper into despair, until an Angel called Gavriel gave him a task - to guard the Door and await the Angel that would halt the End of the World.
