Kataryna, a happy-go-lucky Lemur lass, developed an interest in animals (non-sentients) when she was very young, and so it seemed she had little other choice then to follow this trend and study ecology.

Her studies led her to the School of Magic, Tirra-Inle where she did not learn magic, but in fact studied the rather bizrre and unique mutations of Cockroaches that inhabited the Deadlands. Here she discovered many intriguing facts and also found love, in the form of a wolf mage, Daniel Cameron Galbraith. Their path to romance was a rocky one - as all things are but the two of them eventually settled down in a little village on the outskirts of Eriwyn where she began working for MONS (Ministry Of Non Sentients).
