The youngest of seven children, Daniel was somewhat spoilt as an infant. Having three older brothers, he did not stand to inherit much of his family's estate, and thus was sent off to Tirra-Inle at the age of thirteen to be taught in the ways of magick. It was here he met with, and fell in love with, Kataryna Delilah Lemusu - something which then resulted in his family clan all but disowning him.

Kataryna and he moved into a small village outside of Eriwyn where he continued in his hobby of "musical magick" and worked in telecommunications via magick.
